I actually ran into my father yesterday in traffic, he didnt recognize my car but I recognized his. I called him after and we talked in a parking lot and he talked about how he regrets basically all the influence he had on my families life as a kid and is glad I seem to have learned from some of his mistakes. It was a nice conversation and I felt good about it. I used to literally wish he was dead
