I understand this. unless people request not to take part in it they have them by default added to the router (though it doesn't connect to your ip but a secondary one built in.
What I am saying is someone can spoof theirs to say xfinity guess wifi or whatever it states. even if the person uses a different ISP provider. it could be a mifi and unless someone does real research or netstat IP lookup it is just a way to see what you're doing and maybe find an open port and fuck your laptop's cank hole of misery. -
