What they do instead is hire part time only so they don't have to pay any benefits. Then they lay a bunch of people off so you have to take on and do all the work they would have been doing. They absolutely hate paying $14/$15 hour. Drives them crazy. They're all panicking and cutting corners stupidly like crazy.

Criminals don't obey regulations, so what good are even more regulations the criminals will simply ignore entirely? The only harm from regulations would apply to law abiding citizens trying to defend their homes and persons, not the criminals. Criminals will get their guns no matter what regulations are in place. There is no law which states banks have to accept any currency at all. In fact, there isn't even a law which states any store has to take any currency. The law only exists to establish it as legal tender, but does not impel anyone to accept it.

Pretty similar thing happened to me. I was walking home from the bank machine a few blocks away at night, and some old Indian drunk, pretty big, too, came up on me really fast and tried to get right up in my face asking me why I looked so tough, so as he was going to put his face up to mine I let a right hook go and nailed him right in the side of the head, and that knocked him back almost on his ass. Then he picked up a bottle that was laying there and threw it right at my head, then charged me, and I must have given him at least 4 or 5 shots straight to the head as I was backing up and sidestepping, but he then started going absolutely ape-shit and dancing around in the street screaming and yelling he was going to follow me home and kill me later. He came at me one more time as I was walking away and almost jumped on my back, but I turned around and nailed him clean in the temple and he backed up and kept screaming he was going to kill me. I finally lost him around a corner.

I've found everyone has their special strengths, no matter how useless they come across.
