So many people get this completely wrong. Capitalism is good. Crony capitalism is bad. The two are like night and day - complete opposites. Capitalism encourages the free and open exchange of goods and services. Crony capitalism enriches a handful of shitbag scum, at the expense and destruction of the people they steal and deceive and trick and bully their wealth from. If so many people don't even know what the actual problem is, and are confusing the problem with a completely different animal, it's never, ever going to get solved. Crony capitalism has been the cancer at the heart of every major problem the world has ever faced, and it has always been. Greed; plain and simple. For thousands of years, these scum have been destroying the world and everything on it, just so they can stuff another greasy dollar into their off-shore, tax free, numbered, cash havens. They don't care who they hurt. They would literally stab their own mothers in the back, if the price was right.

Zok was so naive he posted all the e-mail addresses of his members on the Memberlist, so one could simply check if the e-mail listed was expired on hotmail or yahoo or wherever, and then re-create the e-mail address and use the password reset tool to change the member's password. It was hilarious. Even several mods let their register e-mail address expire. At one point, they were getting picked off like flies, and they couldn't figure out what was going on. I could just sit on a mod account in Mods&Admins and "hover", watching, observing, and then I could steer things by subtly making suggestions under the hacked mod's account. Too funny. A couple of the brighter mods caught on one time I did that, and one of them said, "zok!!!", after I made a comment that the impostor could very well be someone we least expect. Gooood times.

That's best way to buy cars. Buy a certified piece of shit for $500 that's cheap on gas, drive it into the ground, then get another one and do the same with it. There's absolutely no sense in putting money into a new vehicle.

I was just going to say the same thing. Broke or not, you should have immediately retained a personal injury lawyer, many lawyers will take your case with no money up front if your case is rock solid, and then had the lawyer file a massive lawsuit against the officers, the department, and the city. Your hard drive was working at the time, and you could have sent your lawyer the fresh pics. Can't let these corrupt pigs get away with it. You have to sue. Their money is the only thing they respect, so that's where you have to hit them.
