Yep. Which is why it doesn't matter what he did at all. He could have literally come back from directly raping and killing a child and it would not have made any difference legally or morally because those dudes did not see him do it, and thus had no right to treat him in the way they did.
But he didn't commit any crimes so that argument falls flat anyway.

best scenario, absolutely, but It would be even better to get many ideas from others and come to a smart decision that will be more effective, as you might have 500 years of experience given to you from 50 people, and there might be some pretty good answers in the lot....
and by the way you work with words, sculpting them to your likeness, makes you a smart, eloquent, even devious entity at times, and one to be, to many folks, reckoned with, and you've learned to do it quietly, always cool to the touch of other's minds, and much goes right over some of the heads on here, so you might not need as much wisdom as others to get to where you need to be on the path that you've chosen to journey on.
