You cannot pay taxes if you have no income.
You have no income if you spent all your money on tools and materials for your business or on tools needed as an employee.
I recommend everyone to register their own business and bill their employer that way.
Buying your boss a coffee in the morning can be written off of your income.
Not to mention I lose my 100$ hammer at least once a week. Theft is notorious on construction sites.
Also I crashed my car which I bought to get to and from work, so that's all a loss of income.
Remember that your tax return is money the gov't shouldn't have taken from you in the first place. Gov't deducting taxes on minimum wage jobs is a big slap in the face for people facing poverty who need their money ASAP, just to get it all returned at the end of the year when they end up in a giant drug binge for a month before going back to their old mcdonalds jobs.
Car's been acting funny too, fuel consumption is up 200%

There is no way they would ever profit, the systems you would need to control the market in such a way would be impossible to pay for and always be a loss, with minimal positive effect.

What are you talking about? The drugs are already regulated. We put people who use them in jail. USA spends 81 billion annually on housing inmates. 22% of those inmates are drug related. By legalizing and licensing drugs you free up near 20 billion dollars already from PRISON alone. Now take court cases, investigations, sting operations, appeals, state provided lawyers, etc. The cost isn't only in money. The cost is in HUMAN LIFE as well. With both police officers, drug dealers, and innocents. And not just lives lost, but the amount of damage done by people going to prison to never get a well paying job again etc.
Again you're retarded for thinking that prohibition will cost more then legalization.

Codeine's LD50 is 800mg. APAP is 7 grams. 12 full strength pills of APAP can kill you. You'd need 25x30mg codeine pills to kill you. The APAP in the codeine pills is likely to kill you first. Go to the 'research' point of the article you posted.

Go register a business, and come next time you're supposed to hand in your hours, hand him an invoice. He'll appreciate it. Voids liability on him. Where I live, workers comp insurance isn't manditory for those who are self-employed. Thus if you work for yourself, you can charge him an extra five bucks an hour because now you're doing your own paperwork and you're working uninsured.
Guess that may not work with a big corporation or via union. But if you're working for big corp for pennies where you need your tax back ASAP, fucking quit and go do something useful where you'll learn a skill for life. For unions the only thing they teach you is to throw a temper tantrum when you don't get paid enough instead of actually improving service or product to get paid more.
