Only recently in BC. Prior to the NDP coming to power a year or two ago, British Colombians had to pay 60$ a month (down to zero if you had no income).

In any case, our free healthcare is mostly organized at a provincial level. Any such measures in the USA should be at state level. Their federal government should theoretically not hold the power to implement such services (not that they haven't before).

In a thread asking if 40$ an hour is a good wage, we're talking wages here.

You're an idiot if you think that all goes to the mechanic for his labour. There's shop fees, downtime, management, paperwork, etc.

It hits the cardiovascular for me a touch, but once I'm warmed up, I'm good to go.

They introduced filte-r cigarettes in the 70s. Death rate may very well decline as a result of this.
Btw it's the nitrosamines in tobacco that cause cancer. They could come out with a cancer-free cigarette in the future. And smoking will become cool again!

Here... full wood military ones go for 700 - 1200$
Sporter ones go for 150 - 350$ depending on condition.
Original military sniper No4s can fetch upwards of 10 thousand $$$.
I'd say about half the sporter ones here have scopes on them. Doesn't mean they'll stay zeroed. If you got good eyes you should be able to hit at 300 yards with ironsights anyhow - soldiers were trained to hit at 1000 yards with irons.
A good number where redone by parker hale. This would've added a scope mount, removed the stripper clip guide, and added a new stock. These are excellent rifles which'll put any new budget rifle to shame for less than the price.
Good magazines go for 100$ too. Half the price of the rifle.

If you like the aperture sights, get an No4. If you like the V sights, get an SMLE. In reality though, you'll want a bunch lined up infront of you and select the nicest one, regardless of model. Most of them have been through a lot.

Ouch. Winchester Super X goes for 35$ canadian for a box of 20. You should be able to find it cheaper in the states. When reloading my own, I pay (In Canadian) about 40 cents for the bullet, 6 cents for the primer, 30 cents for the powder. The shells should last me 3 - 5 reloads I'm assuming.

I googled that for you. You're lucky we can't get this brand up north.

Action's sweet. You pull back/up and push forward/down. Unlike most hunting rifles where you first push back, then push up. It's one fluid motion with the enfields. Nice and quiet too - my buddy was amazed at how quietly I chambered it compared to his modern hunting gun. Great truck hunting gun as it has the detachable magazine. There can be no ammo in the gun while it's in a vehicle here, so it's quick to jump out of the truck and load up.

My enfield ejects a bit weak, will have to try to tune it before my spring bear hunt. 303 is sold in all Canadian gun/ammo stores. Should be available in the USA - Winchester makes them in Super X. Surplus 303 is long gone, though I did score some at the gun club here a while back - some of the 1944 ammo batch was quite corroded but it fired.

Despite having the M14, I'm contiuning to hunt with the Enfield. The enfield is much lighter. It's safety doesn't make a loud snap when engaging/disengaging. With my handloaded ammo it's quite accurate too. Sporterized Enfields go for 200$ here in Canada.

    As for the smooth action,

    I got some!

Russian SKS, British Enfield, Chinese/American M14. Couple twenty twos. A flintlock. A single shot shotty.
Was out hunting with the enfield last year. I just got my reloading kit setup, so will be tinkering around with that while the country's shut down.

Yes you'll have insurance even if you do not pay it. They'll simply backcharge you the insurance costs. Here they recently removed it alltogether. It was 60$ for middle class, per month. For lower income it was subsidized, free to 10$ a month. Even the full 60$ a month was heavily subsidized.

Gov't - everybody stay at home indefinitely
Gov't - we're going to give you all money to stay home
People - don't pay taxes when they're not working
Gov't - can't pay people when they can't collect taxes
Gov't - prints up a bunch of money, causing massive price increases and inflation

Where the fuck is this money going to come from? It's not. We're going to be left with bank runs and mass inflations within a month. Silver and gold will skyrocket, even bitcoin will skyrocket as our banks print trillions every day.

Then the looting will begin. You think the hoarding is bad now. Well guess what's worse than hoarding. People will turn to crime to pay for their next meal.

As with a virus, our own immune system is often what causes the most damage. It overreacts with a fever and it kills the host. Unless we're smart about this, entire system will come crashing down. Then we'll be thinking that we should've let the weak die instead.

Trucking ain't going to stop. It's a virus. Not a fuel shortage or trucker strike.

Numbers are fucking miniscule. Of course you don't know anybody with the virus.

Except for me. My aunt and uncle got it.
