No it’s actually the opposite of groupthink. Each scientific study is done independently of one another and reviewed by peers. After enough individual studies show the same result, that’s what we call consensus. The scientific method encourages independence.

This is a circular conversation. You mentioned how a lot of politicians on the left are biased because they invest in renewable energy, well who the fuck do you think has a vested interest in the oil companies? I didn’t source anything from “the mainstream media”, what I linked to was a .gov website that linked to like 18 studies from 18 different sources, government and non-government, domestic and international. Obviously there are hundreds more but you get the idea.
