I got this system down where I fill the largest dirty pot/pan I have with hot soapy water, then use that to wash everything else so the initial water never gets contaminated by anything other than the sponge, then rinse with scalding water because the hot water makes everything dry in like 10 minutes.
Honestly the shit coming out of the dishwasher dirty wasn't the issue, because it was usually like 1 cup, it was the fact it's leaps and bounds faster to just hand wash. -

It had potential when it started. I will give it that 100%. But back when it started the community was still on it's first set of splintering, so he had as much as 50% of the community backing him at that point.
That's the only thing that really pisses me off about all of it though. When Totse went down we were fine because the community as a whole was willing to move on, but then we get shitty admins who wanted to change things to fit their own image, so the community started to splinter, and every time it splintered we lost 20% of our members or more depending on how shitty the alternate was.
Zoklet took us from 10,000 active members to 2,000, then down to maybe 600 when it went down, then it splintered down to maybe 150
Red Fern took that 150 and actually ran with it, probably only lost about half
Arnox took those 75 or so lost soles and turned them away
Lanny took the maybe 30-40 remaining people and started NiS
NiS lost maybe half the members to stagnation, then took on the DH crowd, and here we are.
10,000 people down to maybe 3 dozen absolute fucking max. I'd be surprised to find out over 30 people are still posting. -

I found totse the dialup in 1992-93 and left and then returned and found totse.com when it was being assembled and transfering all of the old dialup files to the dot com version. around early 2000.
as I stated before, someone in the building or neighboring building (this block is mainly condo units) of niggasin*space as the name of the WiFi I didn't logon to that wifi but I just typed it in the url to see if it would come up anything and not only did I see lanny's BBS but it had the totse.com background as well.

Gotcha. Yeah, I found Totse trying to find ways to synth acid back in 2004. I didn't find the BBS until 2005 after the server fried though and it went down for those few months.
Kinda nuts I've been part of this community for 20 years. My original account would be old enough to vote this year.
