2020-01-10 at 4 AM UTC in RIP SplooSploo had passed away early morning hours of December 22nd. I have been in contact with his father and a cremation was done. Sploos mother has flown in from Turkey and they are purchasing a plot near Queens. They will have a small ceremony TBD. I have his fathers email for those that want to pay respects without hindering his parents grieving. I haven't posted much about it but you've probably heard that Iraqis have been firing missiles at the 'Green Zone' fairly regularly with no real effect. The reason for this is that they're firing over the US embassy (missiles keep landing near the waterline on the opposite side) to set off the alarms, piss everyone off and temporarily halt embassy business.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

I've been following a few guys trying to work out what got hit - they've been enhancementing through old videos of the base, and almost all of the targets appear to have been 'Shasta Shelters', a company that makes what are essentially large collapsible equipment sheds.
The type/size of shelters they were seem to indicate that they were for vehicles or heavy equipment, some wreckage photos showing diesel generators.
Given how quiet the US media has been on material losses, it's possible the US was storing things there that would upset their Iraqi 'hosts' and that the strike's real goal was to expose them.
Or it's possible the Iranians just picked a bunch of important-looking buildings on the US side of the base to prove how accurate their missiles are. Who knows at this point.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
2020-01-09 at 7:03 AM UTC in Hi. I have a question.It’s been a lot of days lately since I’m recovering. When I go back to work, it’s usually one day during the week that I have off and I have the house to myself.
I usually wake up around 5-6 and let the doggies out.
Then I return to my room and sit on my bed and play with my 3 doggies, mores so my youngest. After that, I usually start posting in here. I’ll post for a couple hours and get high. I usually get nice and high that I’ll take a small mid afternoon power nap.
After that I take care of any responsibilities I have that day which are usually minor. Then I usually return to my room and watch a movie on Netflix.
By that time hubby gets home and we usually eat, watch some TV then bed time around 9 for him. That’s when I usually peek in here and post some more till I’m tired.
And that’s a lazy day in TECH’S life. They’re especially nice when it’s cold and snowy outside.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Not one mile of wall has been built, and even if that son of a bitch was 1 mile high and ten feet thick, people would still be coming here illegally because most illegal immigration is from visa overstays that came here on planes.
Also they need more manpower to actually patrol and enforce the hypothetical “wall”, otherwise the wall may as well not be there.
