One of the sad aspects of the book is when it says the love of his life severed contact with him in jail. Just imagine knowing she's getting dicked and impregnated whilst you rot away in a jail for the rest of your life. That has to fucking hurt.
Ross made the choice to become in effect, an online admin/ drug lord etc. What cannot be denied is his intellect and waste of potential. His views were interesting and he's far from your average thinking drug supplier. I think given the chance he could be an asset to the government in one way or another.
