a genuine typing test should test and only test a typists ability to type and only type,
not how well he or she had the words memorized as sequences of keystrokes and their ability to spell.
therefore a true typing test should consist of making a someone type a full paragraph made out of random string of characters separated by randomly spaced spaces between them. -

i guarantee that your typing speed will drop to like 20+ wpm or less if your given an article with plenty of big, multisyllabled words that youve never seen before or strings of random characters.
this ''typing'' test is a mere test of memory and reflexes, not how good you can type out what you see. -
