For the last month I've been making pizzas at a new affluent new bar/pizzeria place in austin that my friend got me a job there. So I've been working the ovens, making pizzas ect.. But they finally opened a friar station where we make hot wings and its one of my bosses set ups, like he came up with the recipe asked the owners to buy the fryers and the last 2 days I've been working on that station..
It's my least favorite station because its extremely boring and I'm constantly having to grab celery out of a thing of ice and water and it makes my hand cold. Anyways, I took a 5 minute break and when I came back I started working again as to relieve my boss (from the station he created) and a "server" that is also a manager and my boss walked up on me while I was busy and started saying I served cold wings (meaning I dipped cold frozen wings in hot sauce and plated and garnished them.
And they were talking shit and I said "man I just got back here and I didn't fucking plate that" (i knew for a fact I didn't because the way it was plated isn't my style a lot more sloppy) and the server asked me well who did? someone obviously did" and so I said it must of been my boss (right as he was standing there)
and they just both shut the fuck up. I guess I get it that they are trying to see if they can catch you slipping but at the same time I don't think I should be held accountable for something I clearly did not do.
After that they ent up fucking with my friend and grilled him outside
anyone here ever gone through stuff like this before at work? I've worked with a lot of edgelords before but this shit is on a different level.
who knows maybe the guy is trying to get me fired, but i didn't admit to anything because I didn't do anything wrong. they would have to prove it for me to be fired.
