It should mean a cursed lose-lose scenario to you.
Either
A) You succeed and you are now with a girl who is confirmed to be able to be talked out of her relationship and doesn't recognize snakes trying to do just that.
Or
B) You fail because you both mutually find out that the girl actually isn't as low as you and you will be marked as a man of disrepute. She and probably her friends will then forever be outside of your reach purely for the reason that she is genuinely better than you and you will have to cope that you didn't really want her that much anyway despite having significantly invested your efforts into your own destruction.
To any person who has already gone through life and faced this juncture, such scenarios emit an bright, radioactive aura of poison.
