Have a beer or two. no more. smoke some buds with it or better yet vape it. or prepare some marijuana butter or go buy hash oil (it's legal in California last time I checked) and make it with that substituting butter. (Make cookies or brownies)
remember that it's best to consume half the brownie 90 minutes prior to netflix. it will still take another half hour to kick in. this is when you start nursing beers. if you want a third beer. have some rolling rocks to replace the third or forth.
relax. watch a movie. write down what you think of and see if it's funny or mind blowing the following day. There was a study that said people on pot were no more creative thinking. Maybe not, but that's when the creative thoughts kick in the most. -

It is. It was pretty cold on and off in Oakland area growing up. I mean everyone who grew up here says the same thing. the 70-90s was pretty wet cold. maybe upper 40s but wet from fog so it feels like below freezing when the wind blows.
but the coldest it has got is 40s at night. like 2-3am . day time I think maybe mid 50s has been the coldest since Winter started. been like this for about 10 years now. maybe one or two days of 40s. no 30s I can remember for a long time. Hell it snowed a few times when I was a kid. Havn't seen that in over a decade even in the central valley area. -

So here is my only problem.
First off. He seems really cool but cryptic at times.
I talk about shit in the mindset of someone who has lost a lot of time and forgetting what year it is. I mean I know it's 2019 but I'm talking to him about shit that he was just a kid or knows nothing of it at all. and some of it films that didn't seem that long ago to me. He said he never saw "Eyes wide shut". I think he was maybe 6 when it came out.
but then again< i didn't see it in the theater I saw it a few years later on DVD.
Then again my Parents had friends 20 years or so younger than them. Maybe I just need to accept Adults are adults and if they can keep adult like then they're friend worthy. otherwise they're someone you are friends with and mentor.
And ACP could mentor me in electrical knowledge. I someday want to build a solar panel kit in my car if I have to live out of it full time. I saw the panels but don't know shit about the equipment that goes between it and what I'm guessing will be a truck battery or two.
He seems to have had a good education in cool redneck gear. a knowledgeable survivalist. I just don't want to fall off the wagon. and anything I have to offer him in advice is kind of old man talk. -

this isn't LA. It's northern Cali and the bay. a good day in Janurary is maybe 60-65. it's been hitting like 72 in Oakland and Berkeley and even San Francisco the past 3-4 days.
supposed to rain Wed but it's a Pineapple Express so it will be tropical rain.
Hurray for Global warming. More rain for our drought and more warm rain to go with it instead of an arctic blast. -

Some (though I can't say for sure it's the members) live in Peoples Park which is about to finally get ripped out (they're taking down trees now). that park is getting replaced by Student Housing (Instead of faculty buildings). they promise low income housing to go in. but the students will probably protest this. especially parents since it's mostly Freshman housing.
But after 50 years of fighting to keep that park. it's going bye bye. It's a symbol of the hippy era. people camped out in it to protest housing cost and the Vietnam war being priority over keeping education cost lower. it became a haven for drug users who use needles. a few drop out students or students with degrees living there among others.
Somehow it doesn't feel like the hippy era and the reason it was saved as green area for children is pointless since no parent in their right mind would bring a child into a park filled with dirty needles.
I am a homeless advocate but not for drop outs. "Get a $180k of a 4 year degree at best and do nothing with it. just drop out"? -

In California if you were right near .08 (which I think they lowered it to 0.06 now) you could argue the calibration of the device. you may not get let go or have it dropped but you could get a wet reckless. which still shows as a DUI but only 500 dollars and no community time.
I been sober for 5 years.
I hope to stick with this. this is why I don't want to go to a bar with ACP. I'm drinking sodas while this guy's throwing back ale.

if you were nice and didn't appear to drunk they usually made you park your car and tell you to call someone to drive you home. but often they would just leave your car where it was and take you to jail for the night. if they didn't feel like doing paper work, they would let you out after a few hours. if you were a total asshole to them then you got your fine and had to go to court. that's my understanding of it.
