I mean it'll certainly drill in some discipline, get you some job experience and skills to use for the future.just acknowledge that you may get sucked into some political bullshit and pitted against different peoples at the whim of a bunch of our of touch politicians. You'll probably spend a lot of time waiting around doing busywork. You won't get paid particularly well. But yeah if you can cut it still, do it up. Also, consider things you might be good at, and see if they have any MOS that's applicable (ie, mechanic or combat engineer, medic)

Medevac and combat engineer would be my go to's. I also want to experience aviation as well. Politic is so politics whatevs just throw me out to the battlefield and defend.
  3. Why not just get some GI Joe toys first and simulate some scenarios and see if the lifestyle really does suit you.

I was like "the military weaponizes everything. I wonder if they've weaponized sea otters?" Google search did not confirm my suspicions (although it's certain the heads of The Otter Warfare Unit would've scrubbed any damning evidence), but I did find a few pages of the federal code pertaining to whether the navy can be disciplined if a submarine hits and kills an otter. That part was almost more hilarious. The fact that a bunch of people came together to draft legislation pertaining to how to behave when the Navy makes contact with a sea otter.

Hahaha, you POG. Everyone other than grunt is a try hard achievement faggot. Let's do all shit work nobody wants to do.

How stupid do you have to be? I worked with a former grunt and seargant who so proud of being an "NCO. Backbone of the US Military". Okay. So you choose to play in the dirt doing shit work that gives you no opportunities after your prime education years while people smarter than you tell you what to do.

Yeah, that makes you such a macho badass that will attract only borderline personality women of the lower class, which is where you'll be when you get out. Good thing you still have your meaningless "honor" and PTSD noone cares about.

It's hit 70 for the last 3 days now.

this isn't LA. It's northern Cali and the bay. a good day in Janurary is maybe 60-65. it's been hitting like 72 in Oakland and Berkeley and even San Francisco the past 3-4 days.

supposed to rain Wed but it's a Pineapple Express so it will be tropical rain.

Hurray for Global warming. More rain for our drought and more warm rain to go with it instead of an arctic blast.
