   the person(s) who wrote it, didn't copyright or trademark the story or name. that has been made into over a dozen indie films and is now up for a block buster to be made in 2019 (unless they pulled the greenlight) by I think Lucas or some shit.
   
   I forgot if it was Lucas or John Carpenter (not sure if he's alive still but his product still is) or someone else. but i read it being greenlit.
