That said it's absurd to call US military spending 'defensive' in any context, at least since 2001

Yeah, the whole logic is broken.

"Were the world's only superpower, time to defend the world"
  4. I barely understand Python, but I can tell that that is a clever line of code.

    Also (((Some))) browsers 😂
  5. http://newamericancentury.org/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf

Just skimmed it now, it just says "America is the world's only superpower", and then "America must spend a fortune on it's military or else the world will not be peaceful".

Of course it never specifies why, or what threats America faces, or anything. The implication is that asking for details is a moral faux pas, and you must hate America if you do.

The names on the document are interesting, mostly jedis of course, John Bolton (one of Trump's Viziers) is mentioned as well.

    But she has enormous lips.

I mean look at her. There's no way to draw her without making it look like a racist caricature.

That's why you get shit like this:

Obviously the low paid need to be paid more. You were saying that paying the poor more would cause inflation, which it would, but most inflation is caused by the rich chasing goods, by the government exercising insufficient fiscal discipline, and by the extension of credit during the normal business cycle. Inflation mostly affects the wealthy and those with substantial pensions or savings.

If inflation rises and there is insufficient labour supply the winners will be the workers, who can negotiate better wages. Periods of moderate inflation have traditionally been good times to be a worker.

And I don't see how it's our business if Sweden decides to be socialist as hell. The immigrant thing DOES affect us though, as it is creating a new African/Muslim state right in the middle of Europe with all the downsides that brings.
  8. Damn §m£ÂgØL is going all Kevin Spacey in American Beauty or something.
  9. I never ordered drugs from China, would love to, but haven't found any sources.

The tracking website says my phone was inspected by customs, so now I have to pay tax on it. Fug.

But it's easy enough to edit a PDF of the invoice to reduce the price a little.

  14. Originally posted by Sudo Economic growth gives me an old white man boner and in the long run I believe it could keep down inflation and make Sweden more ripe for investment

Keeping down inflation means driving down wages for people who are already poorly paid.

Why does Sweden need more investment?

Growth for the sake of growth is the philosophy of a cancer tumor.
  15. Originally posted by Sophie Yeah, but the thing did have like 60+ kilometer range, so they could shell enemy positions without having to endure a counter barrage. Oh and they could literally shell southern England from across the North Sea, lmao.

Yes but when you add up the cost of building and maintaining the gun, moving it around, manning it, and building projectiles for it, anything you blow up with it better be worth a lot of money.
  16. Originally posted by Lanny I remember once being told 9/11 was a coverup because the official story was that the hijackers were identified by their passports fell out of the planes during collision and that's obviously impossible.

That one passport was found on the street beside the WTC is part of the official narrative.

And 911 was a coverup - everybody realises that - the only question is what was being covered up.

    Same organisation.

Google things like "The Airlift of Evil" or Bin Laden's Kidney Dialysis if you don't believe me.
  18. Is torture. Especially when it's something you really want. I'm checking a tracking website every couple of hours to see if my new phone is coming.

Ugh. On the bright side, 64GB of memory, so I can finally stop worrying about running out of space for apps.
