the other being bookstores. they threw quite a lot of unsold megazines. you know how they were supposed to destroy/shread those magazines, but the amount they had to throw away made that too time consuming so they just rip the cover off so that that cant be resold.
all my childhood magazines came from that bookstore. expensive, imported magazines abiut cars, bikes, guns etc etc.
