I've known a fair amount of cops over the years and a big percentage just itching to shoot someone. The rest just regular guys but you never know which one will show up if you call them.
I have never called the cops and if anything serious happens to me or family I'll handle it myself.

In China, if someone runs out in front of your car and you run them over, they back over you a couple of times to make sure you're dead. Otherwise, they end up the victim and end up paying for life.
