It's disgusting how Israel has treated the Palestinians and prevented them from attaining any upward mobility. A party other than Hamas in power would make concessions and get nothing in return. Israel sees weakness and they bulldoze the strip. Palestine has to enforce their own borders on the West bank and raise the anti for Israel choking off the infrastructure of Gaza. As it stands, the Palestinians best hope is for a charismatic leader to drum up international support again and give the Palestinian cause a softer face that people can't turn away from
