I don't want my kids to see the demons in me. When I moved into my house while my baby mom was preggers I spent the first week detoxing from isotonitezene and praying that my kid never sees me on the shit. Well I kinda broke a promise to myself in that regard. I went to jail during my son's life too for a few months for reasons that don't have to do withbdrugs (other than the reasonnfor the original sentence) and I feel pretty guilty about that

Being a parent is fluid and requires constant learning and growth. There's no right formula for it and no way to predict the future. I've had drugs in my life for so long it's hard to live without them but I know that day will come soon and I can't wait. I'm pretty proud of the parent I've been to my son thus far in his life. I've definitely made myself miserable to make him happy alot and done a LOT of sacrificing. I would be lying if I said I don't try every day to do what I think it takes to be a good father. Idk I don't really have any role model for being a good father, I just go with what I think is right and he needs and deserves. As much shit as someone can talk about me can't nobody say I don't make my son my #1 priority in my life. My daughter will be there too and the cycle of intergenerational trauma and abuse will end Inshallah.

So yeah if anyone else has any parenting tips I'd Love to hear them

I pulled outta my road and there was a pig sitting at the freemason lodge that started following me so I gunned it up then pulled into a store and he kept going, then I went to a different store and this Arab guy twice tried to have a conversation like he knew me and looked kinda familiar. I bought eggs and the owner said I need bacon too so now I hate him. This waitress with a fat ass was in buying liquor and cigarettes and smiled at me because I have gone to her diner and been served by her many times. I saw her at the school during pickup the other day and a little black girl ran and gave her a hug and called her Nicole instead of "mommy" which I could tell kinda flustered her. I considered buying likka but thought better of it. I went back and my baby mom had dressed the kids up in Halloween costumes socrhey were running around being cute lions and sharks and dinosaurs while I cooked the eggs. Now I'm changing my clothes and wishing methadone pills worked better
