what did our homes look like 150 years ago? just shacks for most America. outside of the industrial towns with people who had formal education in architech and built houses like Queen Anne and or Colonials, most homes in the USA were just basic shacks. not even cabins but more like a barn with a few windows and no paint.

It's been kind of cold and wet and I said to myself this morning.. well we have had some sunny Christmas but not this year. then the freaken sun came out around 2pm and it warmed up to a balmy 70 degrees and felt humid
though the temps are supposed to dip down in the low 60s it's not bad for this time of year. especially with lots of sun. the evenings will get to near freezing but warm up all week during the day.
