"The president had to confess in writing, in court, to illegally diverting charitable contributions that were supposed to go to veterans," Buttigieg said Wednesday night.
This is somewhat true. The president did admit to illegally mishandling the Trump Foundation — in particular the $2.8 million raised for veterans in an event in Iowa days before the 2016 caucuses — in a court filing. Those dollars were controlled and disbursed by Trump’s campaign staff at campaign events, instead of being overseen by the Foundation. But, the money was being donated to several veteran charitable causes.

you get 3 weeks to assemble your team, find who is best at what position, then get them to learn plays, get them in shape, all before first game. so we tried him as the center and he would not snap the ball, we tried him at punter but he was not fast enough to punt before getting tackled, finally we tried him on kickoff/return.
after figuring who goes where, we teach the offensive line how to block and who to block every different play. the defense we teach how to hold onto the offensive lineman and create a blocked hole to run through. we go over everything.
the aunt told us the parents were in denial.
me addressing their denial is not getting us anywhere.
a lawsuit threat, however, got us where he remained safe and my consciousness was at ease. -

2020-01-02 at 4:26 PM UTC in Looking back which generation was more disappointingi coached pop warner football for a phoenix area team. it was the first time i ever met someone odd. i couldn't figure out where to put him cause by law every player must play 3 snaps. he would just look off into the sky and stare for half hour at a time. his parents were awesome people wanting the team over for chili supper and barbeques. but they clearly were in denial over their son.
finally i thought, if we use him on kickoff/return he might not get hurt. so we tried and put him on the return team. damnit if that ball did not go right to him. he picks it up, takes a few steps, then stops and stares. the other kids charging at him to blast his ass and im blowing my whistle running on the field to stop action.
finally his aunt came to me in private and told us he was aspy.
i went to pop warner org and said, im looking at a damn lawsuit by playing this kid.
finally we settled for him being manager and eventually, yet sadly, he and his parents drifted away and out of sight.
but DAMN, why would parents do that to that poor kid.
i wanted to kick his dad's ass all over that field.
i was so pissed off i was fucking red!! -
