Yea I meet weird people often too. You know the concept of "gaydar" where gay dudes can supposedly tell whether or not someone is gay? Well tweakers have methdars. When I went downtown while high on meth other tweakers could see it and they would come up to me and say weird shit, make loud tweaker calls, one dude even just asked if I wanted to hang out. Once I realized that there was like this secret underworld of tweakers that interact mostly with each other and not with normal people, I joined the ranks and whenever I would see someone spun I would do either say something real quick to them or do some crazy laugh or just be like YEAAAAAAAAA or something dumb. It was fun. Damn I miss doing meth.

A debate I used to get into all the time, but have long since given up on, is the alcohol vs heroin debate (in terms of damage to the body).

But RATIONALLY speaking, opiates are FAR less damaging healthwise.
But it's legal, so try convincing anyone of that.
Alcohol is probably the most destructive recreational psychoactive substance you can put into your body yet anyone with $1.25 can obtain it on almost every street corner.

I've dealt with some amazingly dumb drug dealers that can't do basic math or fractions and end up with an amazing deal while they think they're making off well. Not to mention levels and layers of ridiculous paranoia, flakiness, and other bullshit that really tests your resolve to even bother getting high.

Some of us actually use drugs just simply for the pleasure.
That's what all you non drug users don't get coz everything you know about drugs is just what they tell you on the telly and in newspapers. They only report the worst scare stories and then give you the impression that all drug users are pretty much like that. But they are just trying to make monsters out of the drugs and users to scare you into feeling like you really need the authorities to protect you. This is so effective in turning you into a 100% tax paying conforming faggot. Don't even get me started on terrorism and sex offenders.
