I grew up here. This place was very liberal with some conservatism with it. Most people in the east bay came from WWII vets from Midwest settling in Oakland area after the war. Then 5he same after Korean war followed up by Vietnam war etc.
They stayed for the weather. Nearly 40 percent of the families moved out of the bay area I grew up with or while they lived here when i did.
