Pat Meehan
On April 27, 2018, Republican Congressmen Pat Meehan resigned due to months worth of misconduct allegations. In January, the New York Times reported he had used tax payer money to pay off a former aide who had accused him of sexual harassment. The aide alleged Meehan had attempted to start a romantic relationship with her and became hostile when she rejected him. While Meehan continues to deny any wrongdoing, he claimed he wanted to spare his staff the stress of an ethics investigation.

George H. W. Bush
In October 2017, President George H. W. Bush was accused of inappropriately touching actress Heather Lind during a promotional event for Turn: Washington's Spies. She wrote in an Instagram post, which was later deleted, that Bush "touched me from behind from his wheelchair... all the while being photographed, he touched me again." Soon after, actress Jordana Grolnick accused Bush of groping her.
As for November 2017, several more women came forward with similar sexual harassment allegations against President Bush, including one who alleged Bush groped her in 2003 when she was 16 years old.

Roy Moore
During Roy Moore's election campaign for the Senate, nine women accused him of sexual misconduct. Three of them alleged he sexually assaulted them when they were aged 14 to 28. Although Moore denied the allegations, he did not deny dating teenagers over the age of 16.
While many Republicans and politicians called for Moore to drop out of the race, President Donald Trump expressed his support.

Jeff Hoover
On November 6, 2017, Jeff Hoover resigned as the Speaker of the Kentucky House of Representatives after multiple sexual harassment allegations were made against him.

A Tampa TV station stumbled on the story while covering a probe into former Florida GOP Chairman Jim Greer. Greer's attorney allegedly told Crist's attorney that if Crist was deposed in the case, "embarrassing things" would come to light: Namely, that Crist had homosexual affairs with two men (while he was governor) who were then paid off "to avoid embarrassing" him.

Oregon State Republican Representative Matt Wingard was involved in a sex scandal that made headlines in June of 2012, when a former aide accused him of sexual misconduct. Among other things, the (as yet unidentified) aide claims that she felt "pressured" into having sex with Wingard. For his part, Wingard admits having a sexual relationship with the aide, but maintains it was entirely consensual.
On June 18, 2012, Wingard announced he wouldn't seek another term in office. He also resigned as Deputy Republican Leader of the Oregon House of Representatives. It's possible he could be asked to resign entirely.

Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert recently pled guilty to sending hush money to "someone he had wronged." Inside sources claim that the $3.5 million in hush money went to a former student who had accused him of inappropriate sexual conduct in order to keep him from spilling the beans. Hastert was formerly a high school wrestling coach in Yorkville, Illinois.

US Representative Tim Murphy came under fire for text messages released in October 2017. The messages had been sent between the representative and Shannon Edwards, a forensic psychologist with whom he had been having an affair.
In the texts, Edwards accuses Murphy of asking her to abort their baby, despite his pro-life political stance.
