2020-10-16 at 5:36 PM UTC in Anyone Read Sci-Fi?Is anyone else watching the new Star Trek on CBS? I'm finding it difficult to follow. They play music over the actors speaking making it difficult to hear what they are saying and have the Klingons speaking Klingon precipitating the need for subtitles that go by too quickly to read and are not "black boxed" causing difficulty reading through the varying backgrounds.

She is only 31 years old and on her 3rd home. She is a loan officer and making multiples of what I ever imagined making. I was there just yesterday doing some plumbing and replacing an ugly chandelier for her.

My credit card pays me to use it. My credit score is in the 820s. My house is paid for. My vehicles are paid for. Social Security pays me money every month. I'm actually saving money and not needing to dip into any savings unless a big item like a new vehicle would arise. I buy what I need when I need it and pay it off next month when the bill comes. My big expenses are insurance and property taxes. I don't have a problem paying them except for the whole anger issues over doing so.
Life is good for me.
On the other hand, I have a friend who has refinanced his house numerous times and a wife who doesn't believe in fiscal restraint. They filed for bankruptcy years ago and he is constantly concerned about losing his home. He recently retired and I'm afraid to see how he's doing.

In the past departments were asked to report any hate crime ARRESTS that took place in their jurisdiction. The new system (NIBRS)they are asking departments to use records any hate crime INCIDENT, whether anyone was charged or not. Obviously, there are going to be more complaints than arrest because now any vandalism ect with racial overtones is going to be logged into the FBIs data where in the past it would not. It will still be going up for several years too.
