Originally posted by cupocheer Not really, Stl. I don't know anyone my age so they usually don't have children, or grandchildren, let alone great grandchildren.
I don't discuss knitting, dear, because I don't knit.
I mainly discuss healthy foods: preparation, recipes, storage – substitute ingredients, etc.
We discuss clothing, style, colors that look best with complexion and body build.
Perhaps a book is recommended, a new song suggested.
Unless we are having a Bible study, or religious discussion, we rarely discuss religion or politics. (Both of which are the individual's personal preference.)
We may talk about our ancestors which have preceeded us in life.
We discuss many things – and are apt to speak of pleasant memories of times gone by.
Do you have great grandchildren, Stl? Im sure you are proud of them, if you do?🌹
Two grandchildren, 2 and less than 1 (so far). -

Keep your gas full. Less gelling
You can hook your battery up to a tender in sub zero temps
Clarification on the light thingy. Only turn on for a minute or so and then turn off (along with heater fan, radio, etc.) before cranking engine.
Here's a link to Harbor Freight's automatic floating battery charger. It's only $9.99 but, if you can find a coupon, they are only $4.99. I have one on my riding lawn mower in my (usually) unheated garage and the mower starts right up in the spring. They won't charge a low battery, but will maintain a battery if it was charged when parked. You will need to run an extension cord to the engine compartment and remove the charger before driving. Easily done as the charger is tiny and only weighs ounces.

Believe it or not I’m out quite a bit.
And actually my request was because when I have snippets of time, I do not want to sort through all these lame threads
There are threads on here that aren't lame?
Can you name 3 non-lame threads from the first page? -
