    Newer cars can be chipped easily if your braking system can handle the extra HP and you don't lower the car poorly. On one older car they cut all four springs removing a portion and welded the pieces back together again with shorter shocks. Lasted a while...then one spring snapped and the guy almost killed himself. I've never seen a good lowering for speed on Camaros for example...but seen some great ones on Subaru WRX Sti's and Mazda RX8's or fast smaller cars like the Mits. You can also do a lot by adding turbos, different manifolds and ST exhaust systems...but expensive and useless if you don't race or you just want to do it for show. The Sub Bre has only 200 HP with no turbo...but man is it ever a great car for handling and cornering. A bit hard to modify...very light and tweaked for what it is. Any modifications have to be done carefully and professionally. A simple chip can boost it by 50 and yet it would throw the whole car off. A 300 model would be nice and almost like a mid range Porsche.

    Not bad for the 1990's. Ghost Rider the Swedish stunt man used the HB's only highly modified...his street version was about 450-500 bhp. Still he used other brands to confuse cops and runs over fire traps. I only raced HB's in the TT'S at the IOM events and my uncle's team still uses them. My personal newer ones are modified also and I'll never change.
