When did I say it's a fighting style...mostly it's a mixed bag of techniques and individuals have no real specialties. Maybe only 10% do and are restricted by rules. Yes fake SKF masters have lost in MMA competitions...real Masters use it as a way of life and philosophy and have survived centuries fighting even strong red armies. Masters don't seek financial gain and yet there's no proof MMA fighters are better in terms of intelligence, bravery, endurance, mental status and body strength able to handle great pain. As I said MMA is a bastard sport to make money and I'm sure more than a few fighters end up snorting Coke with poor family ties. Same for the WWF and many boxers. -

I hate to agree Archer is retarded...now he's adding guns. Still the majority ( not all ) of Asian and Oriental fighters are trained to survive a fight without being killed and not to thug it out. Visit Vietnam, Thailand and other nations in this area and you'll know what I mean. Martial Arts is part of their culture and history and why Americans did so poorly against them in the last few wars. Thugs also don't fight logically as a group needing a crew to back them and make massive errors in defense. Size isn't even a factor...in fact huge men can have numerous weak points and slow in combat. -

To a MMA...not a Master skilled in defense and survival. Maybe at a distance and if the punk can actually shoot. Part of defense is trying to calm the situation and not escalate it. A violent thug in the MMA has probably less of a chance to survive than a Master in SKF and one who only knows how to attack in most cases. -

A good street brawler and MMA out of the ring would stand less of a chance against a true master who is skilled at defence and taught from a young age to prevent being killed. It's hilarious to believe that the best fighters in the world are in the MMA and this is simply not true. They have their niche and nothing else.

I don't believe MMA is anywhere close to pure Asian or Oriental martial arts whether as a single discipline or mixed...it's just a bastard sport for money and entertainment. Very few clubs offer the psychology of defense or power of the mind over an opponent. Many MMA fighters are thugs just like in the WWF with criminal records and their instructors have questionable skills and talents with no insurance for injuries. True if I beat someone up for no reason one look at my credentials and I'll be locked up forever and have no excuses. There are also many poor Asian and Oriental clubs overseas like in Thailand and yet the real masters cannot be compared to ones who immigrated to America claiming they are. I'm not a big follower of TK...however I've seen some proof of Binding, Spatial Sense and Wound Inducement. Rare...yet have seen it. -
