You could kill the nearest person indiscriminately, but it would be on the basis of their proximity and therefore not random. You could blindfold yourself and walk until you bump into a person, then uncover your eyes and kill them, but you would still be targeting the demographic of people who live near your hunting ground. By choosing a victim, no matter how arbitrary your method, you are distinguishing them for one reason or another; most likely on the basis of their availability as a victim. If you think you're killing at random, you're really killing the convenient. The criminal psychologist will eventually be able to establish this motivation and they'll label you a low-functioning psychopath.
What you need is a Murder ButtonTM: when pressed, a randomly selected organism somewhere in the universe dies instantly and you can't be caught. That would be random, you don't have to get your hands dirty, and you won't get diagnosed cluster B and do time. I mean, one of your go-to anti-social acts that you promote is keying cars. It's an act that is definitely antisocial and will piss just about anyone off, but on the spectrum of horrific acts human beings are capable of, it's pretty tame.

All it does is obscure the path coins took in the blockchain; authorities could probably match them up if they had access to the tumbler service's records (assuming they're kept) but outside of that I haven't heard of any analysis being successful. I honestly wouldn't even bother unless you're dealing in large sums of money, in which case do your own reading on the matter because you have a lot more to lose.

Yeah I haven't dealt with it really, but apparently the transactions in the blockchain are recorded in such a way that it's not possible to establish a history for each unit of currency; ie. once a coin is spent or transferred the transaction is obfuscated so that an observer can't tell where it actually came from. -
