Apparently its not a mental thing. Weed lowers blood pressure so the heart has to speed up to keep up the correct amt of oxygen, which is what can cause cardiac issues.

If you use white strips it tells you to consult your dentist first. If you have receding gums you don’t use it. I used ‘em for my wedding, they worked okay, not great.
My sister-in-law swears by baking soda mixed with peroxide.
I use Colgate whitening toothpaste and mouthwash. It makes a difference.
