I’ll be camping 3 nights and 4 days over Labor Day! We have a cool set up though. We have an air mattress that is specifically designed for the back of my SUV. It’s perfect for us 6 foot-ers. Last year we bought a tent that hooks onto the back of the vehicle. You leave the back hatch open and it’s like a room all to itself.
I guess we don’t “rough it” too much.

I’ve had to be on pain meds for an extended period of time due to some shitty back problems. I always expect my body to get addicted, you’d be a fool to think your body doesn’t crave the drugs. But, I do not let my mind get addicted. I have the power over them all in my brain. Going off opiates isn’t easy, but if you expect the withdrawals and find a way to deal with them, you’ve won half the battle. Yeah it’s uncomfortable, but you have to be the one in control of your own brain.

Good luck with that OP. It’s hard as heck to get disability without corroborating medical documentation; so if you don’t have a genuine disability, you better find a crooked doctor.
Disability is a pittance of money. I was told by my doc I should be on disability.......fuck no. The money is shit, and I prefer to be a productive member of society.
I don’t know if you’re from the US, but that’s how it is here.

When I was very little, I grabbed a pack of lifesavers off the checkout stand. My parents didn’t realize till we got home. They made me go up to the store security guard, scary for this little girl; I had to apologize, and give him the lifesavers. I didn’t shoplift after that. Thing is, I wasn’t intentionally stealing, I just grabbed em, didn’t even hide them. I was too young to know what shoplifting was, but I found out. My parents just called it stealing. Shop-lifting is a nicer version of stealing.

Everybody forgets there was a generation in between. My lovely generation Xers. Guess being an X is still an unknown😂.
Millenials didn’t ruin anything, their parents did it to them. Don’t know why, but some parents from my generation have coddled the fuck out of their kids. Didn’t teach them the meaning of a buck. I raised my son to start working at 15, and he works his ass off. I met a quintessential millenial the other day. She openly admitted she doesn’t want to grow up, she wants to stay home and be supported by her parents, and she’s 22. Man I wanted out of the house the second I had the chance.
