   O my fucking gosh. My son just called and one of his childhood friends is in the ICU from a heroin overdose and he probably won’t make it. WTF? I thought narcan took care of that shit, there must be something else we don’t know. Life is so fucking humbling.
   
   I’m so glad my son decided early that he couldn’t stand the thought of ever using heroin. He tried his share of shit I’m sure, but he won’t be around anyone who uses.
