So someone got into a fight with a security guard and tried to shoot an opioid (naloxone worked) into his neck, and the police have suggested the same thing may have happened with other people.

there were apparently a number of people suffering severe cardiac events which TRIGGERED the stampede, so it may not have even been the stampede that killed them.
There are people on twitter saying that the number of dead is actually higher and that hundreds of people needed to be attended by paramedics but who knows how accurate that is.
This could very well be true, but as of now it is known that some of the shorter people suffocated due to the crowding. They interviewed a girl who was there, and she said she couldn’t breath, then passed out.
