My opinion of the movie may be bias unknowingly lol Simply because I’ve always been fascinated with the event and the ship itself in general..ever since I was a kid ...
..I saw him in what’s eating Gilbert grape , Basketball Diary’s and Romeo and Juliet ..
So when the movie came out and it had Leo staring ..I was excited like most girls my age at the time
But my fascination of Titanic was there well before the film... so to see the film with my favorite actor .. it may have made me bias ..
The fact that the film has so many factual elements down to the tiniest detail .. is why I can personally appreciate the film because that’s where my genuine interest lie..the event itself and all it entails..

As someone who won an elementary school science fair on the actual Titanic sinking yrs before the movie.. I was actually enthralled from beginning to end
