What's the point? Coal works fine.
I had coal plants all the way into the 2020's with full power production and an industial zone and waterpark in every city with max resources every turn. Once you get synthetic technocracy you don't even need power plants anymore because you get +10% power for every district.
I imagine China is doing something similar to this and simply doesn't want to spend the time and resources to switch to nuclear power even though it only takes 10 turns per city.

I am a fast reader. When I was in grade 1 we had baskets of books and they were separated by grade and I got so bored I read all of them several grades ahead of me.
They gave me a book in highschool that was a month long project to read and do all this homework and I read it in one day and got bored taking turns reading it in class so I skipped the class all together.
