We had some pears that were browning and wanted to cook them .. My girlfriend knows lots of recipies but didn't know how to make a cobbler..
I just did a simple one based on what we had. i told her to use butter and saute the pears then throw in cinnamon and brown sugar and a dab of maple syrup.. throw some raisins from the trail mix and walnuts and we didn't have bread slices (ran out) and I suggested croutons. She said "eww they're salad ones out of a box with garlic. you know what.. the garlic gave it extra flavor with the sweet stuff. it came out really good.. college dorm cobbler like a college dorm pizza of ketchup and american cheese?)
anyone remember the college or frat-recipes from &TOTSE dialup days. and the pranks.
anyways, if you don't have proper ingredients.. just use apples and pull raisons out of a box of raisin bran and cut toast into cubes.. maple syrup, brown sugar (or white) and butter
