Yeah, technically it's already decarbed and activated due to the process of distillation so you should be able to just eat it as-is, but most people have better results adding it to a little bit of fat. You can do something as simple as putting a glob on a spoon of peanut butter or a slice of buttered bread, you don't have to actually cook with it and infuse it.
I like making tinctures with MCT oil too. I just put 30 ml of MCT into a shot glass in a hot water bath then once it's hot enough I add in my distillate and stir it all together and bottle it. -

Props to you for getting off those things and not staying on them for eternity like some people.
K ratom is definitely one of the more useful tools for opioid withdrawal, especially with how relatively cheap and accessible it is these days. I've never needed it for that reason but I have pretty good success using it for depression and anxiety.
