Despite what some claim, the human sense of smell is still amazingly sensitive, most people don't even realise it. You just realise stuff without knowing why. Sometimes it's a 6th sense thing, often it's just you recognise a smell. -

Most well-liked foods are psychoactive to some extent or other.
People actually have very little in sense of taste - they only have 6 types of receptors on their tongue, and none of them bring pleasure when stimulated in isolation. They merely associate the smells and textures of their foods with psychoactive effects of the foods they eat.
Smell is fairly interesting, and fairly poorly understood.
We should experiment with adding chemicals like nicotine, caffeine, various amphetamines, thobromine and phenethylamine into healthy foods.

Pretty good article, looks at current trends. Even I think the whole staring into mobile phones thing is starting to become uncool.
I don't really facebook much any more. I go there maybe twice a week. It's become so political, commercial, and censored now, and it gives me a negative vibe.
And you can't even share stuff with your friends and expect them to see it anymore - thanks to the way facebook feeds work certain stories get buried and others are pushed to the top, so you have some rat faced kike curating what you see and don't see.
Every time I log in now it gives me notifications "xyz just shared a story". I even get emails, which go straight to my spam. It's pathetic and needy, neurotic and jedi.
Nothing good ever came out of facebook. -

The rich suggest importing third worlders as very low paid workers. I remember some jedis were suggesting that visas be offered paying basically nothing for domestic workers. So basically slaves.
Theory and evidence shows that more workers = lower wages = lower standard of living for most people. But no one will admit that. It's probably more realistic that with robots taking over jobs most people's standard of living will decline, while those who are currently rich will get richer, with very few exceptions. -
