Thats really good to hear.
Yesterday Luigi broke out some foil and we smoked some Afghan hasheesh and then he tied my arm off and opened a vain up with something called "The White Dragon" and then used the same dirty needle on himself and then some bartender chick eye raped him for an hour.
he also crashed my SUV into some large blue van where I pushed him out and took off before the owner came back. he took out the guys dirtbike strapped to the back of it.
I'd like to set up the Undead Legacy mod once the latest version is ready. more guns, more vehicles, more electronics, more progression options (as well as the standard perk system you get additional bonuses for using specific types of weapons, tools etc).
would require a map wipe but we could also do a larger random map as well as adding new prefabs, so hundreds of different buildings to explore.
Looks like the guy who makes that UL mod, SubQuake, has been working on making an A21 compatible release of his mod since A21 came out ( June '23 ) and he was shooting for a release in the first quarter of 2024. It looks really cool, I'd like to play it. Sounds like there were lots of changes to 7D2D for A21 that made a lot of re-work necessary for modders to bring their pre-A21 mods to the new version. 7D2D celebrated 10 years of beta recently. 7d2d = 7 Decades 2 Develop
7D2D is pretty lit but after doing a few play-throughs I seem to start losing interest around day 200 or 300. It seems like by then I've discovered most of the map, built all the workstations, got several high-level weapons and armor, the end is in-sight on unlocking most of the crafting recipes, maxed out an entire perk tree with skill-points.. and then the game feels like more of a grind/routine ( doing T6 missions over and over , and mining - mostly to make concrete and more ammo, expending a ton of ammo on horde so have to keep grinding to get more).
I'd enjoy more depth to pretty much everything. *** Bigger maps would be cool if there was a reason to make them bigger like new towns with unique POIs ( steel mill? port? rail-yard? logging-operations? refinery? ) new biomes with unique resources ( like how you have to go to the desert for shale ) .
*** More mission types and variations on existing types: recover supplies could have a recover a vehicle variation, recover an NPC ( bring them a gun and they help you fight your way out etc ).
*** More vehicles and variations on them, obviously you need to be able to paint them, outfit them with different wheels, tires, HID headlamps/lightbars, custom license plates.
*** More weapons and ammo types - .22 rifles & pistols, grenade launchers, flame-throwers, vehicle-mounted guns operable by passengers, tracers & incendiary bullets, thermite for breaking into safes or steel doors etc, hypodermic needle to get zombiee aids from a zombie and then stab your enemies with it.
*** More workstations - Add depth to crafting and customization with lathes, mills, 3D printer, paint booths, screen-printers. Computers ( could be used to play minigames, or interface with building-controls/defences, could have graphics program to create/modify custom vehicle paintjobs, shirt designs, wallpaper, etc all done in-game ).
*** Communications equipment - craft radio antennas, coaxial cable, transceivers, antenna towers. Could receive distress-calls from NPCs as a new way to receive missions, could make them configurable for different power levels and use them for player to player communication. Could be used to locate beacon signals on airdrops or a variation of airdrops. You could initiate a call to a trader / service-provider NPC to make a delivery to you of needed resource or items.
*** User-created content able to be implemented in-game: vehicle custom paintjobs/artwork, custom wall-paper/paint textures for blocks, custom shirt/armor/weapon designs. Spray-paint cans to go do graffiti with. Ability to import images or atleast create them in-game to create your own pictures for picture frames. And my favorite would be the ability to craft audio equipment like stereos, radio tuners, burn CDs ( import your own music and put them on a disc in the game, and share/play to other players. Head unit in car, subwoofers in car. Picture this I roll up to urr base withh BigXThaPlug blaring and you hearr my subs boofing from 1/4 mile awaay , you get iin my carro ( custom paintjob of a dukes of hazzard racist flag and a potleaf on it ) and when u get in you hear that raunchy rap music I've uploaded into the game to get us fkin amped up to go do a mish, heard.

that reminds me of something i thought of earlier today, why do people still call things made of wood "wooden"? if something is made out of steel, rock, or iron you just say steel, rock or iron, so why do we change it for wooden? it seems archaic, like calling something made of iron ferrous
