Restraihijg order doesnt apply to the custody order. Somwtimes they want all court proceedings to he done before the family court ones. Well this plays into your hand then, my ex had one on me albeit there was no reason for it. She got the restraining order thinking in court it would make me look bad which it did not.

No, you have 50/50 rights. You need to apply for family mediation, if she refuses to turn up and give mediation a try, the mediator will give you what's called a, "C100 form".
