2020-05-19 at 3:56 AM UTC in Investing in Real EstateI own a house but have been looking into getting a rental as well. As long as you buy carefully, real estate is sound investment. Sit on a property long enough and you're practically garaunteed to see a return.
My main concern is finding good, reliable tenants. All the other misc. things and repairs that come with owning a rental property aren't too daunting as I can do them myself. But getting people who will pay rent on time and not trash the place? How the hell do you manage that? Especially with all the laws there are about unfairly discriminating against interested parties. -

I like this idea. It's getting hard to remember everyone who's died.

You're retarded. Do you see those communal dining tables? It's not uncommon for prisoners in America to be allowed to congregate. Regardless of whether or not cops had a role in allowing this particular incident to happen, it wouldn't have even have been a consideration had everyone been on lockdown.
100% solitary confinement would drastically reduce the amount of fights, gangs, drug smuggling, etc. Another added bonus would be making the experience so miserable prison would be more of a deterrant than it is now.
