Public schools are just government indoctrination camps by another name. And they always has been - I'm not talking about "woke" here, "woke" is just a parasite that has managed to flourish in and hijack institutions whose raison d'être was already indoctrination. They teach you to read so you can read their propaganda. They teach you math so all the people they kill can become a statistic in your eyes and little more. SLAVE.
And if you're seething reading this, just imagine: I wouldn't have been able to write it if the government hadn't taught me to. I wouldn't be able to read twitter. I'd probably be, like, digging a hole somewhere or planting crops in that world. I'd probably be happy, and unbothered. And so would you.
Ignorance is bliss.

Read. No. Words.
There's a lot wrong in this world. Doesn't mean things couldn't be or shouldn't be better. -

I tend to be exposed to more right leaning anti climate mania thought which usually aren't as hostile they just say hey this green stuff is kinda a scam, here is why, and you can either agree or not.
I think their argument is just as fair as anyone else and they got all the charts and numbers to back it up. It pisses me off too because it's not even a science debate, or politics, it's morphed into a brainwash type control thing designed to keep people stuck to one side or another of an issue that is more complex than that.
The economy is outgrowing the centralized system keeping things stuck the way they are, climate green folx want RAPID changes and to make big moves and disrupt the economy, which is all fine and dandy but the systems for everything do not work that way and are designed to only do what they do now. Despite all the carbon capture and years of REDUCE EMISSION, there just isn't an alternative to ENERGY HUNGRY consumer demand that grows every year, people aren't learning to live off less, the opposite seems to be happening

Some of the people trying to "defeat me" (as -SpectraL puts it) aren't being genuine. Jiggaboo_Johnson for example accepts the reality of our changing climate and the effect human activity has had on it, as evidenced by his posts early on in this very thread, but has since decided it is more fun to just be a troll. I suspect Xlite is coming from a similar place, he doesn't seem to be actually stupid enough to fall for the propaganda he posts. But his trolling commentary is definitely more contemptful, he probably still feels slighted by some interaction between us I've forgotten about.
Scaredy Prepper and -SpectraL on the other hand do appear to be genuinely upset. -
