I'm gonna order that odroid kit because it's cheap, looks sick as fuck, and will be a fun project. I can use it next flight. Thanks for bringing it's existence to my attention obbe

A man traveling across a field encountered a tiger. He fled, the tiger after him. Coming to a precipice, he caught hold of the root of a wild vine and swung himself down over the edge. The tiger sniffed at him from above. Trembling, the man looked down to where, far below, another tiger was waiting to eat him. Only the vine sustained him.
Two mice, one white and one black, little by little started to gnaw away the vine. The man saw a luscious strawberry near him. Grasping the vine with one hand, he plucked the strawberry with the other. How sweet it tasted!
Whatever agency and volition are – whether they're illusions or complex physical phenomena we're barely capable of comprehending – we're now one small step closer to understanding how they operate through a network of brain tissue that stretches across the brain, which could tell us where our sense of freedom comes from.

So Oct17 is the big day for Canada. But they are stopping the sales of edibles for now. I know how to make the usual butter/oil for baking but anyone have experience making candy? Particularly gummies

Just finished the last episode last night. I really like this show. It's set in an 80's-retro-futruistic world where most people seem to be poor and unhappy. There's technological advances like AI and virtual reality but everything seems really dingy and analog, people are lonely and constantly bombarded with advertisements and can even use a service called "ad-buddy" where someone will follow you around and read ads to you if you cannot afford things like subway fare, or hire a "friend proxy" if you have nobody to talk to.
The show is about Owen and Annie, two strangers each with their own problems, who enter into a drug-trial. The trial is combination of a series of drugs used along with input from an artificial intelligence to create simulated experiences, with the aim of diagnosing and correcting any mental problems by rewireing the brain using simulated experience. This is not a cheesy romantic show, but Annie and Owen do become friends..
It's hard not to give too much away but I really enjoyed this show. It's super trippy, dark, involves schizophrenia and depression and drug addiction and cool stuff like that but what really drew me in was the style and theme of this show.

Yep. This server limits the map to 40k, nobody trusts anyone because everyone is looking to rob and murder, basically forcing everyone to hide underground and build hidden vaults for their treasures.

I just got back into Minecraft since the aquatic update came out and an old anarchy server I used to play on reset. It's pretty fun. I was killed 3 times just trying to get away from spawn during my first week back on the server. Eventually I got far enough out (I think) and have gone underground. Starting to get a good base going now.
