Ocean heat shatters record with warming equal to 5 atomic bombs exploding "every second" for a year. Researchers say it's "getting worse."

John Abraham, a professor at the University of St. Thomas, is among more than a dozen scientists who revealed this week the ocean in 2022 was "the hottest ever recorded by humans." It increased by 10.9 Zetta Joules, an amount of energy equivalent to the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima and an amount of heat about 100 times more than the electricity generated worldwide in 2021.

    Assessing ExxonMobil’s global warming projections

For decades, some members of the fossil fuel industry tried to convince the public that a causative link between fossil fuel use and climate warming could not be made because the models used to project warming were too uncertain. Supran et al. show that one of those fossil fuel companies, ExxonMobil, had their own internal models that projected warming trajectories consistent with those forecast by the independent academic and government models. What they understood about climate models thus contradicted what they led the public to believe.

You're clearly just describing yourself here. If you know the stuff I post are lies you would be able to demonstrate it. You never have, and you never will.

    In case you forgot:

They KNEW: Exxon made ‘breathtakingly’ accurate climate predictions in 1970s and 80s

The oil giant Exxon privately “predicted global warming correctly and skilfully” only to then spend decades publicly rubbishing such science in order to protect its core business, new research has found.

No, as I have told you before I do this for fun. I am not concerned with "making the world better". Do you have alzheimer's?

Did you actually think I am being "useful" to someone, by posting links to news articles and studies on a dead website that only 6 people post on? Who do you think I am "useful" to, the wealthy elite? They have their own analysts and PR gurus, they covered up the climate change projections that were available decades ago, remember?

Record drought gripped much of the U.S. in 2022, Nation struck with 18 billion-dollar disasters

The year 2022 was marked by numerous severe weather events, devastating hurricanes and deadly flooding across the U.S. This included a record-breaking drought, 18 separate billion-dollar weather and climate disasters, an above-average hurricane season, an above-average number of tornadoes, and extensive wildfires across the western U.S. and Alaska. The total cost of these disasters exceeded $165 billion, making 2022 the third most costly year on record. This is a concerning reminder of the climate crisis and serves as a warning of the potential consequences of further inaction.

Even when spoon-fed a series of lists of climate change predictions that are now the reality we are living in, this guy just wants to keep his head buried as deep as he can. Capitalize all the words you like, it won't make your denial of reality any less ridiculous.

Anyone who has studied mathematics can "predict" the answer to a question like 2 + 2 = X. It isn't even a prediction, they can see the answer in the equation. To suggest people who study climate science can't do the same thing, even when provided all the evidence that they have already done so, is intellectually dishonest.

Canadian Scientists Explain Exactly How Their Government Silenced Science

“Disservice is too mild a word” to describe the effect of this muzzling, says Steven Campana, a shark scientist who spent 32 years working for Canada’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans. “It’s a cheat for the taxpaying public because it’s the taxpaying public that is funding this government research. When that research leads to very positive things, or even if it's negative, the people that paid for it deserve to hear about it.”

What do you mean it hasn't happened yet? Have you looked outside recently? Do you read the news?

Oh right, you're too busy inserting that over-inflated head somewhere the sun doesn't shine.
