I prefer fresh ground bud. If the bud has been sitting in my grinder over night, I mean it still gets me high but it has definitely lost a bit of the original essence. I have to imagine the pre-milled stuff is somewhat like that too, ground up and mixed up and sitting in a bag on a shelf for who knows how long.
That first hit of freshly ground up bud, so fresh it looks like it's still breathing, extracted directly into my lungs - no smoke, just delicious vapor gently pulled from the plant. There is not a better way to consume it.
You're getting older, treat yourself. You only live once. I promise if you get a quality dry herb vaporizer and give it a chance with good quality product you won't want to go back to combustion or pre-milled blends. -

2023-01-21 at 12:02 AM UTC in World to hit temperature tipping point 10 years faster than forecastThere is increasing evidence indicating that extreme social withdrawal (Hikikomori) is a global phenomenon.
This article provides a qualitative review of the phenomenon of extreme social withdrawal (ESW) among young people. It defines the condition and provides figures on its prevalence, as well as discussing associated concepts such as loneliness and “aloneliness,” school absenteeism and dropout, the ‘new’ developmental stage of adultolescence, and the labor force categories of freeter and NEET. The core of the paper focuses on the origins of ESW in young people, exploring etiological factors such as brain processes, temperament, psychiatric conditions, and family and peer experiences. It also looks at the potential of excessive internet and digital media use. Finally, the article discusses possible interventions for young people with ESW.
The article is significant to this topic as it provides insight into a phenomenon that is likely to become increasingly prevalent as society continues to experience economic and social upheaval. The article highlights the importance of addressing the root causes of ESW, such as family and peer experiences, in order to prevent it from becoming a long-term problem. It also provides an understanding of the potential interventions that can be employed to help young people suffering from ESW.
The sociological term for this is “social collapse.” -

Weather presenters are on the front line of the climate crisis, as they have to explain the disasters as they unfold in real time. Some of them end up in tears, others have received death threats simply for forecasting the weather.

2023-01-18 at 12:40 AM UTC in What strain are you smoking right nowSmooth smooth smoke, a light sage like herby taste, soft. Bag smell is heavily lemony. No choking its well cured. I also get a hint of wedding cake like taste, got to be caryophylene; almost uh. Light Inscense saddlewood. Spicy on the tongue, could be cloves.... eugenole for its sure eugenole.
Certainly beta humulene in there. earthy, woody, and spicy notes that give hoppy beers and their distinct taste and aroma and balsam fir its anti-inflammatory properties.
So should be non munchy/ Because humulene 's thought to be an appetite suppressant as well.
The buds are not "tight" they also are not "airy" nor fluffy. Have density and room to breath.
Good slathering of glossy rusty trychombs. Do not crumble when you try to break it up with your fingers so they got some moisture in m still. Stems say "SNAP" tho ;) so that's good. Got a nice buzz. -

2023-01-17 at 6:07 PM UTC in World to hit temperature tipping point 10 years faster than forecastDomestic terrorists hope to destroy the power grid and cause the collapse of the United States
In 2022 there were more than 100 attacks against different parts of the U.S. power grid. There is increasing concern that they are acts of domestic terrorism. The attack in Moore county, NC two months ago is emblematic of the problem, cutting power to 35,000 people for nearly a week. And a year ago Texas showed how easy it is to get to the brink of a complete grid collapse. How long before a serious months-long blackout affects millions of people?
