Continue to sweep all the shit into their yard. One of my former coworkers had an old golden retriever that was basically on Hospice at his apartment, however that works. Guy was just so attached to him that he didn't want to put him down but the doge had arthritis and couldn't really even make it outside to shit or piss anymore so he'd either let him shit on his little 2nd floor apartment balcony or when he was at work he'd just shit in his apartment.
So basically he has shit all over his deck and then patches of baking soda or whatever he'd pour over the poop spots in his apartment after he cleaned them.
Anyway it was kinda fucked up obviously but the guy clearly just couldn't fathom being without the dog so he let it happen. He finally realized he had to put him down though and so it's over now.
