Both. I quit my former gig. Late nights working around a bar full of obnoxious DRUNKARDS. I can HAMDLE it but it just gets old and gives me anxiety. I gotta be drunk myself or just mad all night and I'm trying not to be a drunk anymore (as often and especially not at work) so I had to remove myself from the job. I need something more professional and this is probably as close as I'll get for now, until I decide to fucking learn something new for myself.

On a positive note for myself, just got a call back from the hospital jarb I interviewed for on Wednesday. Offered me the job with benefits and sign on bonus and quite a bit more than I've ever made before. I sure hope it doesn't completely suck ass because it seems awesome on paper.
Also it's not like a huge industrial kitchen serving tons of patients and visitors, it's just a smaller hospital with a set number of patients so she said it's way layed back and less stressful, plus the main hospital does the bulk cooking and pre-portions a lot of the stuff so it's just kind of set up and ready to go for us. We just have to be ORGANIZED and that's like my forte at work. A nice neat organized work space. And there's only a few other cooks so I don't have to talk to people all day long and can work more independently which I much prefer. I am happy, for now.

I landed a new job today :)
$20 an hour, 40 hours a week.
Nice 2nd shift jobbie job and all I have to do is sit down the entire time and drive a fork lift around.
Im fucking geek'd.
Not sure if I'm going to take it or take a better paying and slightly harder type of work job or if I want to take 1 of the other 3 jobs offers that pay a little less but might have better benefits.
Got to decide soon.
This morning I turned down 1 job because I didn't feel like smelling like a shit box all day.

He's always been paranoid bur ever since the doctor cut him off his meds he has taken it to a new level.
Long ago when he would call the fona-fone and relentlessly interrogate me for hours on end I had thought he was trying to be my friend and get to know me but looking back on it all those calls ever consisted of was him asking me for alibis for specific dates, accusing me of covering something up and going so far as to call me a murderer.
The only times he was not accusing me of some crime was when he would be telling me about some cover up/crimes someone else had done that somehow directly affected him even if it happened in the fucking future some how.
I'm sure he is a damn good taxi driver but Im getting more and more worried about paying the fare when it comes to being acquainted with this gont.
I won't be shocked if I turn on the news and see him running naked from the police wearing nothing but a tin foil hat.
Im starting to think his ex-wife made him sleep in his car in the garage because she was scared of him.
Im scared for everyone around him and most of all himself.
We lost Bill Krozby last year to paranoid delusions of an imaginary talking black cop and his dog scarfy.
I sure hope QMR gets back on his meds.

Wariat, I literally don't read them or skim them except for Once In a Blue 🌚 moon or even look at the first word and I try to not even open his threads if I can help it, as is there is absolutely nothing of value that can be gained other than some mild entertainment from others making fun of him, but that's gotten rather stale at this point since it's just all kind of a broken record.

The Aldi's here is the opposite of ghetto, they have chandeliers and marble staircases and even a little library with a fireplace in the middle of you want to take a quick break. Only the finest opera plays over the speakers and there's a dress code of tuxedos and formal night gowns and whatnot.
